Brightness, l*a*b*, OBA or ERIC in pulping, deinking or colored paper
The BT-55 Brightness Transmitter series measures brightness and colors by use of an optical measurement technique. The transmitter is applied in chemical and mechanical pulps, recycled fibers and paper machine applications. It is installed inline and provides continuous real-time results. The BT-55 is available in three different versions attributable to the length of the sensor probe.
The transmitter is intended for inline installations and use at media temperatures in the range of 5 °C to 120 °C (16 °F – 248 °F). The BT-5500 and BT-5510 are mounted through a ball-valve assembly in a stud and are fitted with a retraction system. The light variant, the BT-5520, is mounted directly to a stud and does not have a retraction mechanism. The transmitters are rated for voltages of 100 – 240 VAC at 50 Hz / 60 Hz.
Sample temperatures in the range of 5 °C to 120 °C (16 °F – 248 °F) with consistencies of up to 15%.
