Accurate inline measurement of dissolved lignin in pulp suspension

The DLT-5500, Dissolved Lignin Transmitter, measures the dissolved lignin by use of an optical measurement technique. The inline sensor is applied for determining black liquor carry-over into bleach plants, black liquor solids in brownstock washing and oxygen delignification.

Specifications

System requirements
The transmitter is intended for inline installations and use at media temperatures in the range of 5 °C to 120 °C (16 °F – 248 °F) and a process pH of 2 – 4. The DLT-5500 is mounted through a ball-valve assembly in a stud and is fitted with a retraction system. It is rated for voltages of 100 – 240 VAC at 50 Hz / 60 Hz.

Sample Specification
Sample temperatures in the range of 5 °C to 120 °C (16 °F – 248 °F) with consistencies of 0 – 12% depending on pulp type.
