BTG LAUNCHES NEW MOUNTING DEVICES FOR MEK-3000 TWINTORQUE
Mek-3000 installation now become even easier, smaller, smarter, lighter.
Recently, BTG has introduced new mounting devices for its well-known shear force consistency transmitter MEK-3000 TwinTorque. With a small mounting saddle and also an adapter flange for existing installations customers can now take full advantage of the MEK-3000's performance which includes
- tightest possible process control through superior measurement precision, fastest response and shortest dead time
- reliability of its measuring principle, making it ultra-versatile and universal
- very attractive installation cost due to single-phase power supply
- lowest maintenance: combining an extremely robust construction with a minimum number of wearing parts
- elaborate diagnostics to make troubleshooting easy
- suitable as replacement system, since it adapts easily to existing MEK installations
The MEK-3000 is suitable for use in all parts of the pulp and papermaking process when it comes to measurements of consistencies in the range of 1 - 16%. Since its introduction into the market in 2008 it has been very well received by BTG customers all over the world seeking for a trustworthy and highly accurate consistency transmitter.
Due to its improved sensitivity the MEK-3000 measures the torque very accurately - independent of the size of the sensing element. The new mounting devices support the trend to smaller size of the total installation - sensor and mounting device - which brings about more installation flexibility. The minimized set-up also reduces the need for a measuring vessel and therefore leads to very manageable and attractive overall cost of a MEK-3000 installation.
The new small mounting saddle is especially suitable for new installations. When there is already a large stud or measuring vessel from an existing installation, a MEK-3000 can still be installed using the new adapter flange.
