High-frequency Online Fiber Morphology Measurement
BTG’s Single Point Morphology analyzer, SPM-5550, is an on-line analyzer measuring the geometrical pulp properties such as length, width, shape for fibers, fines, and other objects such as shives.
The SPM-5550 is installed directly on the process pipe and an integrated sampler extracts representative pulp samples under running conditions. This provides fast and frequent analysis of fiber properties allowing the SPM 5550 to be used for process control of key operations such as refining and screening.
Easy integration with BTG’s dataPARC software suite provides dataPARC users with application-specific visualizations of morphology data, empowering machine operators to respond quickly and confidently to changes in fiber properties.
