Charge Analyzer

Continuous measurement of charge levels in process streams

The PCT-20 Charge Analyzer continuously measures colloidal dissolved substances in aqueous process streams by detecting the streaming potential followed by an automatic titration with a poly-electrolyte titrant to the point of zero charge. The analyzer measures online from up to four sampling points. It is widely applied in the paper industry but also lends itself for many water treatment applications.

System requirements
The instrument is intended for indoor use at temperatures in the range of 5 °C to 50 °C (41 °F – 122 °F) and installed next to the process lines, ideally close to the up to four sampling points.  It is rated for voltages of 100 – 240 VAC at 50 Hz / 60 Hz.

Sample Specification
Aqueous samples with up to 1% suspended solids (consistency) can be measured directly. For higher concentrations a filtration sampler is necessary.
